Life at Glacier

Glacier is a young, dynamic, and growing company. We strive to insure that this growth enhances and improves the quality of the experience for our employees and everyone we work with. We believe in health, wellness, constant improvement, and growth for our people and for our company. As such, Glacier offers excellent compensation, benefits, and programs and training to help you succeed in your career. We also believe that the experience of working for Glacier is more than work place duties and accomplishments. We build relationships and teams by making time for employees to get to know each other personally as well as professionally.

For Your Health

Our wide range of health and dental benefits encourage wellness, promote healthy living, and help provide peace of mind. They'll give you tools and information to take control of your health and well being.

Glacier Construction offers a health plan through Cigna Healthcare. The Cigna Open Access Plus (OAP) plan allows flexibility in choosing a provider. While you and Glacier share the cost of the medical premiums, Glacier pays the majority of the cost.

The voluntary dental plan is offered to help you and your family with good dental health. The plan allows you the freedom to choose any dentist, including specialists.

The voluntary Vision Care Plan helps pay for eye examinations, glasses, or contact lenses. You may receive care from any provider you choose, but using network providers maximizes your benefit.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Life insurance helps protect you and your family’s financial security in case of death. In addition to paying a death benefit, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance also helps protect you and your family in case of a serious injury. Glacier provides this benefit to you at no cost to eligible employees.

Flexible Spending Account
This account allows you to set money aside – on a before-tax basis – to help you pay for certain out-of-pocket health care expenses.

For Your Time

Vacations are an important rest, recovery, and renewal strategy for creating work/life balance--especially in our fast-paced, 24/7 world. They provide an opportunity to recharge our batteries, so that we can return to work refreshed.

Vacation is accrued on length of service and position.

Paid holidays are currently granted to full time salaried employees upon hire and full time hourly employees after one consecutive year of service. Currently, the paid holidays are as follows: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
